1. If you thought I got excited about the quilting section in this library, you should have seen me when I found the three entire rows of cookbooks.

2. Before I go spending money I don't have on distance learning programs I don't know very much about, I thought I'd see what I can teach myself. I'm going to check out a basic anatomy/physiology book and a couple of basic nutrition books. It's a place to start, anyway. What I wish I had was a friend/expert who could recommend some books to me.

3. The announcement lady is telling all the library patrons that they're closing in thirty minutes, and I'm not finding what I wanted on the internet, so I'm going to go check out my books and then stop by the co-op on my way home for food.

4. N is in Vermont for hir mom's 60th birthday. I miss hir and so does the cat. (yes, sweetie, I mailed the bills. all of them).
